In 2008 we were rated one of the top 75 employers in the construction industry in a survey carried out on behalf of the Building Magazine. This was based on the responses of our own staff to a confidential questionnaire and followed a similar success in the 2007 survey.

You should be qualified to MICE/MIHT and be able to demonstrate that you:
  are able to provide advice and design solutions on projects and studies
  are technically competent and have knowledge of computer modelling techniques
  preferably have direct experience in a development control capacity for a highway authority
  are enthusiastic in seeking solutions to overcome problems
  have good communication skills at senior level, both written and oral, and can motivate others
  are keen to work with, and develop relationships with, clients and other professionals to enhance the business.

Cambridge Office: Senior Rivers Engineer / Hydrologist
Through our partnerships with a number of Internal Drainage Boards and private clients, our Rivers Group has a strong workload in prospect.
We therefore have an opportunity with excellent prospects of advancement for a well-qualified civil engineer or hydrologist with experience in hydraulic modelling and flood risk projects. You should be able to demonstrate that you:
  can take a leading role on flood risk projects under the guidance of a director or associate.
  have a knowledge of flood risk policy and guidance, and DEFRA economic appraisal.
  have experience of hydrodynamic modelling using HecRas and ISIS modelling software.
  have experience in estimating catchment hydrology using FEH.
  have good communication skills, both written and oral, and can motivate your project team.
